Become a member of the

Northwest Indigenous Council

Before completing the Membership Application, please ensure you have taken a moment to review the NWIC Constitution & Bylaws so that you are familiar with the organization’s mandate and what membership tier (Full, Associate, Honorary) you are applying for.

If you are applying for a Full Membership on behalf of an organization or “Local” please contact us as the online form linked below is only applicable for individuals.

Please note, NWIC is still in the process of developing a formal Membership Registry in order to provide an objectively verifiable database of Status and non-Status First Nations, Metis, and Inuit living off-reserve and in urban environments throughout BC. Our current application form is for the purpose of being a member of our provincial society. As a Full Member of the society, you may vote at the Annual General Assembly and Special General Meetings, attend Board Meetings, have the opportunity to join the Board of Directors, and access resources, supports, and events only available to members.
